From a young age, my Father has always told me, “it’s never too late to do the right thing.” I have come to treasure those words and use them as my personal mantra. When I make a mistake, whether it’s at work, in my business, or relationships, instead of becoming discouraged and heavy burdened by my short comings; I recall that phrase and make the decision to get up and tried again. My mother is always encouraging me to step up and try and try and try again.
Their encouragement and wise words are the wind beneath my wings. May be you don’t have someone to encourage, may be you have failed over and over again at a task or in one area of your life. Don’t give up instead, analyse what went wrong, learn from it and avoid repeating that mistake.
As Morgan Harpers Nicholas put it so eloquently, “take heart the value of your life is not measured in calendar years.” So don’t give up on yourself because of the years you lost.
